This spectacular tropical paradise is the smallest of the 3 main Bay Islands, Utila is off the North Coast of Honduras in the Western Caribbean. Though Spanish is the official language in the country, this hidden gem is predominantly English speaking. Just off the beaten path, Utila is already known worldwide as being one of the best spots in the world to learn to Scuba Dive. Crystal clear Caribbean seas, white sandy beaches and the worlds second biggest coral reef ensure this world class destination is hard to beat. Not quite on the normal tourist route, many back packers find this sanctuary a welcome place to stop, relax, dive and party, something the island has become famous for. Divers and party goers are not the only regular visitors, the harmless yet spectacular whale sharks are frequently encountered, along with turtles, dolphins, eagle rays and a whole myriad of incredible marine life.
A dive holiday on the Útila can be taken as a holiday in its own right, but also ties in very well with one of the many liveaboard itineraries operating in this large and fantastically diverse region.

Accommodation
Our accommodation is ideally situated directly on the Bay of Utila, allowing all guests immediate access from their hotel rooms to the sea and to the dock. The incredible sunset views never fail to inspire and impress each and every evening!
The accommodation features three waterfront hotels, catering to both budget travellers and those looking for a little bit more. All rooms include access to the following: daily maid service, a shared kitchen, private waterfront beach area, beach volleyball court, hammocks, dock with sundeck, and spectacular sunsets.
We have rooms for both shoe-string budget travellers and those looking for a few more of the comforts from home. The lower level features typical dormitory-style rooms: four beds, lockers, a fan, and a shared bathroom with hot water. The upper level provides private rooms with either one double bed or two single beds, air conditioning, private bathroom with hot water, and the best view of the harbour in town. We also offer private suites with a few more comforts available.
Please note that the accommodation included with the GoPro courses is the dorm style rooms, sharing with other people on their diver training course, adding to the experience and making it all the more enjoyable. If you’d like a private room then please contact us for the price list.
